“My name is Jo. I’m retired and have a large garden and puppy that occupy my time. I find volunteering to build and maintain The Haven gardens for The Village at Glencliff is uplifting. It is especially so when a group of us work together (2nd and 4th Tuesday evenings). Working as a team accomplishes so much more in a short time. Working as a team introduces me to other people, including volunteers from groups like St. Vincent DePaul Youth Organization, who were wonderful and loving.

Volunteers are the heart and soul of The Village at Glencliff. Whether you are sharing gifts of presence or gifts of talents, what you give to our residents transforms lives and helps to disrupt oppressive systems that marginalize and traumatize our friends experiencing homelessness.
